the things you missed while you were away. (P.S Currently craving Pop Tarts)

I've been to Alton Towers with some school friends, we managed to do most things, but I left the map reading to them, it's not exactly a skill I'm blessed with....(We ARE taking the Satnav to York)

I had my prom, it was lovely, but slightly strange to see everyone dressed up...

I went to go and see YFriday, a pretty good christian band, but what was cooler was that they were playing in the circuit I used to belong too, it was great to see lots of old friends!

And lastly, probably my largest acomplishment, was that I baked a cake for my little sisters presentation evening. It was my first attempt so I was pretty pleased with the results!

For the past couple of days I've been working and reading. This weekend I visited my best friend who lives just outside London, despite the uber long train journey it was great to see her :) I also have something very exciting to tell you all about soon!

Do, do watch athis lush interview with Tim Walker, my favourite photographer. It's fascinating to find out about his beginnings archiving old Cecil Beaton negatives in the Vogue dungeons!

She killed him with kisses

I had to keep it secret because they were one of my mums birthday presents, but let me introduce you to Agatha (Christie) and Daphne (Du Maurier), our latest editions to the Pengelly menagerie!
I hope you didn't mind the lack of posting in the last couple of days, I've been Coup building with my Dad! Hard work in all this heat. Now I have more of a chance to enjoy the sun, I'm sat outside with a cup of tea, Sophies' World and my diary (booo).
